One sure way to increase mycorrhizal fungi in your soil

Here is a fascinating read on how one man experimented with the fungal capacity of woody debris to grow food plants in an arid part of France without irrigation. If you right click on the link you can open up the pdf file in a new window/tab. I have done this method the past couple years and each spring after the snow has melted there is a fresh core of mycorrhizal innoculated chips/leaves/straw/manure/debris to use for innoculating heugel beds around the garden/farm.
